CAN YOU HELP US?
We value partnerships and collaborative working and have made a commitment to share our expertise and experience and to strengthen our community.
We would love to talk with you if you’re interested in becoming a funding partner; referring young people (aged 25 or under) for grants; providing apprenticeships and/or becoming a mentor.
Becoming a funding partner
Would you like to work with us to sponsor grants, apprenticeships or mentoring or provide financial assistance to young people and/or projects? Whether part of a continued corporate social responsibility strategy, philanthropic endeavours or a one-off donation, we welcome your contribution to our aims.
Does your organisation work with young people in Suffolk?
If you know of young people with a genuine financial or other need, we might be able to help them to make a difference to their lives.
Providing apprenticeship placements
Offering an apprenticeship placement has key benefits for your organisation, in addition to helping a young person. Research has proved you’ll gain higher staff morale, new ideas and an enthusiastic, skilled, qualified and motivated workforce. You can mould an apprentice to fit your business needs, anticipating and solving skills shortages – gaining loyal employees whilst lowering attrition rates in the process.
We will work with you so you have all the necessary support to offer apprenticeship placements within your organisation without the onerous responsibility of doing this independently.
Becoming a mentor
The delicate balance of mentoring someone is not creating them in your own image, but giving them the opportunity to create themselves.
Can you spare some time and expertise to mentor young people within your community? Support when facing challenges, to see things differently, to talk things through and to benefit from someone else’s experience, insight and expertise can make all the difference. Our aim is to help young people live an independent and fulfilling life. Through mentoring we can overcome any issues limiting potential and help people reach success.
